About Me

My journey started as I looked through the website Green Wedding Shoes. I stumbled upon this old world carnival wedding and it dawned on me that wedding planning could be an actual career option. I owe my whole journey to not only Green Wedding Shoes but to this particular wedding. I fell in love with the creative nautre of this wedding and I realized that you can do so much more than just the traditional ways you see all the time. The one thing that really drew me to this particular wedding was the umbrellas strung between the market lights to create a romatic dance floor. I fell so much in love with this concept that I proceeded to spend countless hours seaching antique stors for umbrellas to hang in our barn for my own graduation party.

Wedding planning gives me that creative outlet and lets me use my skills of being organized. My planner may actually be my best friend, I can't go anywhere without it. My favorite part of the wedding day is seeing the couples faces when they first see their vision come to life. It's the best feeling knowing that you helped make their dreams a reality. I love being able to focus on all those little intimate details that really make a wedding stand apart from the rest.

My passion and drive for the industry is what pushes me to excel. The summer of my second year of college I spent it interning at two event planning companies in the Ann Arbor area, Luna Soiree Events and Simply Brilliant Events. At the end of internship with Luna Soiree Events I was offered the position of Assistant Event Coordinator for the reminder and following seasons. I've learned so much by having those hands on experiences and working in the events field. I want to not only continue to grow personally but in the events industry as well.
